A Day of Insight and Collaboration at Lyceum No. 178

Today’s Accomplishments

Today, we had the pleasure of meeting the Principal of Lyceum No. 178, Shadiyev Kairatbek. We were warmly welcomed as he and his team gave us a comprehensive tour of the school. During the outdoor portion, we observed students rehearsing traditional dances for graduation, playing on the playground and courts, and visited a geodesic dome featuring student-created science experiments and a comfortable area for study and collaboration. This experience demonstrated how our system would seamlessly integrate with their current interactive, experiential learning approach.

During the indoor portion of our tour, we visited the classrooms where students warmly welcomed us and showcased the experiments they had developed throughout the school year. Additionally, a few students performed a brief song that was both impressive and entertaining.

Subsequently, we had the opportunity to engage with key figures from Lyceum No. 178 and science teachers from various public schools. We presented the features and benefits of Save Tuba and conducted a product demonstration, followed by an in-depth discussion on the potential implementation of our system, during which we welcomed and considered all feedback. It was enlightening to hear from academic experts as we strive to develop technology that supports their needs.

The productive meeting concluded with a delightful feast with the principal, where we debriefed and shared stories. It was a wonderful day, and we extend our sincere gratitude to the amazing staff at Lyceum No. 178.

Key Takeaways

Based on extensive feedback and suggestions, we regrouped and brainstormed the features to include in the pilot phase, as well as those we envision for the long-term, post-pilot. We discussed the importance of various components, such as the implementation of AI grading, augmented reality, the use of smartphone temperature sensors for at-home experiments, and comprehension-level customization. We concluded the session with a clear vision of what we can offer and the next steps required to elevate Save Tuba to our desired level, leveraging innovative technology.
