A Day of Inspiration, Insight, and Beshbarmak: Save Tuba’s Journey at AlmaU

At Save Tuba, every day brings new opportunities, challenges, and—sometimes—unexpected culinary adventures. Yesterday was no exception, as our team dove headfirst into a day packed with progress, partnership, and a taste of Kazakh tradition.

We started our day off by arriving at HQ, finishing up our To-Do lists. Around 2PM, our journey took an exciting turn when we had the privilege of speaking with Kendrick White, Vice Rector for Commercialization at AlmaU. Kendrick’s feedback on our project was not only insightful but energizing. He offered practical advice to help us sharpen our vision and, most excitingly, extended an offer to connect us with angel investors and key figures at AlmaU once our pitch deck and project ask are finalized. This kind of support is exactly what fuels our momentum and reminds us that we’re building something with the potential to make a real impact.

As the sun set, our team gathered at Paradise for a well-earned dinner (courtesy of Khanjan—thank you, Khanjan!). For some, it was their first time trying beshbarmak, the beloved Kazakh dish featuring tender horse meat. The food was delicious, the laughter was contagious, and the sense of camaraderie was unmistakable. We ended the evening with full stomachs, happy hearts, and the kind of tiredness that only comes from a day well spent.

With every conversation and every meal shared, our vision for Save Tuba becomes clearer and our resolve stronger. We’re grateful for the support and encouragement from leaders like Kendrick, and for the opportunity to experience the vibrant culture that surrounds us.

Stay tuned as we finalize our pitch and take the next steps in our journey. The future is bright—and we’re just getting started.

Thank you for following along with Save Tuba’s story. Together, we’re building something remarkable!
